I am aware that I drew the feathers on her “arms” going the wrong way. By the time I finished, I was pretty much almost done, and I’m too lazy to do a new one. So sue me.
Name: Nell Craney
Age: 42
Gender: Female
Species/Breed: Cochin Chicken, silver-laced
Instrument: Manager/Director/Mother
Looks: Most of her is feathers, but she’s still rather bulky under them.
Personality: She’s rather stereotypical, but then again, I suspect all mothers are. He rbig thing is pushing her children to succeed. She’s convinced they could be stars. She switches fairly well (and probably fairly often) between being a “Mama” (kissing boo-boos, and praising everything) to the “Director” (“Where do you think you’re going? You’re not finished practicing!” “I’m taking a break.” “No breaks until you’re finished! Get back here!” “But I’ve got to--” “NOW!”). She’s also rather quick to jump to the defense of her children. She’s also very practical – whenever the family lands up somewhere new, the first thing she does is find out where the bathroom is.
Additional Notes: Her children call her “Mama.” I’m pretty sure her husband is dead, but I am, admittedly, not very clear on this point myself. She probably also had something to do, herself, with show business, once upon a time.
